DEER PARK--A Stevens County farmer popped the question to his girlfriend in a big way.  He turned a 200 acre field into a giant proposal message, but not everything went according to plan.

Last month, Loren Lentz used a tractor to plow a marriage proposal for his girlfriend, Jody Schaeffer, into a 200 acre field just outside the Deer Park Airport.  The only problem was that he accidentally wrote the “J” backwards.

Lentz popped the question while he and Schaeffer flew over the field in an airplane.  Schaeffer noticed the mistake but said yes anyway.

The couple plans to get married next month.
