The vernal equinox officially arrives at 4:02am Wednesday but our weather will still a bit like winter in the higher elevations with heavy snow falling above 4,000 feet. A wind advisory across much of the area is in effect Wednesday form 1pm to 8pm. We can expect wind gusts to 50 mph. Rain will start in the lower elevations Tuesday night and continue through Wednesday.
