SPOKANE, Wash. -- We may not even be at Thanksgiving yet, but many are already thinking Christmas. Spokane's big Christmas Tree at River Park Square will be up before we know it, and this year, there's a new attraction.

The River City Modelers spent over $3,000 creating an amazing train display. It took 150 hours to craft the incredibly detailed attraction. The group said it's a holiday treat everyone can enjoy.

"A lot of people, when they're shopping, are window shopping," said Mike Tietz. "Some people's husbands have to sit on the bench in the middle of the mall. Now he's got something to enjoy. Maybe he won't mind if she's in there for awhile."

The train will run eight hours a day while the tree is up in the mall. It will be on the second floor.

The River City Modelers are always looking for new members. Stop by the display if you're interested in getting involved in the club.
