SPOKANE, Wash. – Police announced they planned to offer a reward to help track down suspects in a fatal shooting outside the Hop concert Venue early Monday morning.

The Spokane Police Department is working with Crimestoppers of the Inland Northwest to offer the reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of a suspect or suspects in the case.

Spokane Police said officers found Julian Morrison, 26, dead in the parking lot outside The Hop near Monroe and Broadway, after they responded to a call of shots fired around 12 a.m.

Spokane Police Lieutenant Dean Sprague said there were dozens of people in the area when officers responded, and that investigators heard varying stories about what had happened. Officials said the Gang Unit was called in to help investigate.

“We’re looking at a lot of different statements and following up with a lot of different tips that have been given to us so far,” Sprague said.

One witness who lives just above the parking lot where the shooting happened said she heard eight gunshots and then saw people running away.

Spokane Police have not identified a suspect but have dedicated a great deal of resources to the case.
