Wow! What an active Wednesday! Scattered thunderstorms continue across the Inland Northwest this afternoon, after dozens of lightning strikes we're recorded earlier this morning. Right now most of our thunderstorm activity is over Wilbur and Chewelah, and north towards Northpoint. Look for scattered storms to continue this afternoon, with periods of heavy rain. In fact, the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for portions of Spokane, Kootenai, South Pend Oreille, Stevens, Bonner and Shoshone Counties through 3:30pm today.

Look for drier weather tomorrow as we enter a streak of warmer, drier, partly cloudy days going into this weekend.

Right now, Fathers Day looks like it'll be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s, folks in northern Idaho may see a stray shower, otherwise mostly dry.
