SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- Wildlife agents were attempting to capture a moose that had wandered into the city of Spokane Valley Thursday.
The Moose was spotted near S. University Road and E. 3rd Avenue. The incident was reportedly causing some traffic issues in the area.
Spokane Valley Police and State Wildlife officials responded to the scene. The Moose had been evading capture for at least a couple hours. Authorities had still not been able to corner and tranquilize the moose Thursday afternoon.
There were no reports of any injuries to the animal or people.
