COEUR D’ALENE--Police in Coeur d'Alene are looking for two men who burglarized the Salvation Army Kroc Center in mid-October.

The suspects stole almost $8,000 worth of construction tools on Friday morning.

"We came to work as we usually do, and we noticed something was out of place,” said Tony Nubile, Kroc Center Facilities Director.

"We're definitely disappointed that this happened. The Salvation Army stands for a lot of good things and this is just a saddening situation to occur here on our property,” said Nubile.

The 3,000 square foot addition will serve as a new maintenance shop for the center.

The lack of tools has left some workers playing catch up.

"Unfortunately this does put us back somewhat,” said Nubile.

Coeur d’Alene police officers are investigating the break-in. The folks at the Kroc Center said they are going to do more to protect their building.
