SPOKANE VALLEY-- A 40-year-old Spokane man was arrested Tuesday at his nail salon for trafficking stolen property.

Tien Le was arrested at 11 a.m. at Super Nails in Spokane Valley. Le is the owner of Super Nails.

Detectives believe Le purchased items stolen in recent burglaries and then sold the items for thousands of dollars.

Detectives with SPD’s Targeted Crimes Unit (TCU) and Special Investigations Unit (SIU) have been conducting this stolen property investigation since June.

Detectives were able to gather enough evidence to arrest Le for Attempted Trafficking in Stolen Property and book him into the Spokane County Jail.  Le, who owns Super Nails at 1500 N. Pines, had been buying and selling stolen property for months and is believed to have made thousands of dollars in profit from local burglaries.

Over $3,000 was seized from Le at the time of his arrest.  Other stolen jewelry and electronics were seized during the search warrants of his home and business.  Detectives will work to return items recovered from this trafficking operation to their rightful owners.

Pictures of the property have been posted on the Spokane Police Department's Facebook page. Click here to see them.
