SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Alzheimer's Association in Spokane invited anybody to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer's.

The North Bank Shelter at Riverfront park will be the starting point for the three mile walk along the Centennial Trail on Saturday, October 5. The walk begins at 10:00 a.m. Late registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and there will be an opening ceremony at 9:45 a.m.

Participants of the walk will learn about Alzheimer's disease and how to get involved with the cause, from either advocacy, to support programs and services. Each walker will also join in a ceremony to honor everyone affected by the disease.
