Julyamsh 2013 brings Northwest tribes together

POST FALLS, Idaho -- Julyamsh 2013, billed as the largest outdoor Powwow in the Northwest, started Thursday, July 25th and ran through the weekend at Post Fall's Greyhound Park.

Powwows are celebrations, social gatherings, and friendly dance competitions surrounded by ceremonial and traditional beliefs and teachings.

Members of the Coeur d'Alene Tribe and neighboring tribes from around the Northwest, including the Spokanes and Colvilles, were present.
