POST FALLS, Idaho--Local police officers and firefighters square off on the ice Friday night for charity. Guns vs. Hoses start at 7:00 p.m. at the Frontier Ice Arena.

Organizers hope to raise $5,000 for the Kootenai Police and Fire Memorial Fund. The fund helps support the families of police officers and firefighters who are killed in the line of duty.

Players had raised about $1,500 as of Friday afternoon. Tickets to the game are $7 each or $5 if you donate two cans of food. Organizers said the food donations will benefit the Post Falls Food Bank.
