Finally! We got some rain around here! Only picked up 0.03" at the Spokane International Airport, but more is on the way. We're in between storm systems, so look for mostly cloudy skies overnight. Patchy fog will develop in valleys north of Highway 2 Sunday morning. By the afternoon, we'll see mostly cloudy skies, possible mountain showers and breezy winds.
The next storm system looks strong and juicy! So far, it looks like the rain returns Sunday night and continues through Tuesday. Gusty winds will also roar into the region with this system. Daytime highs will stay in the lower 60s, overnight lows in the 40s.
We'll dry out Wednesday and stay that way through the rest of the work week. Temps will feel cooler, only climbing into the mid 50s.
Grab a good book, cozy up with a blanket and enjoy the finally fall-like weather! -DG
