Enjoy the sunshine and warm temperatures through Friday. Daytime highs will be in the upper 60s with overnight lows in the lower 40s. Look for a light breeze Wednesday afternoon with a few clouds across the northern communities.

The Inland Northwest is parched to say the least. We're going on day 49 without a drop of moisture. However, it looks like these dry days will be numbered. A more active weather pattern returns this weekend to quench the thirsty Inland Northwest. This will be our first chance to see widespread showers in more than two months. Cooler, windy weather sticks around through the first part of next week.

One step closer to snow! -DG
