SPOKANE, Wash. – The fire that burned through the Mayfair Professional Building in North Spokane on Friday destroyed Jeff Henneberg’s dental office, but the business will carry on.

Dr. Henneberg and his staff split their time between two offices: the North Spokane location where it took in patients on Thursdays and Fridays and another office at Spokane Valley where they take patients Monday through Wednesday.

Since the major fire, all patients from the North location are being redirected to the Spokane Valley location at 100 N. Mullan Rd., about 11 miles away. Unfortunately, the office can’t easily reach out to its patients to tell them that, though: the office lost its schedule of appointments in the fire.

“Our computers are completely lost at the North office,” practice administrator Jennifer Vigil said. “So while we were able to access them from the Valley office, there’s no connection now. So we don’t know who was scheduled.”

Patients who had appointments at the North office should contact the Valley office at (509) 928-8400 to confirm appointments.

Dr. Henneberg’s office staff said it’s still too soon to know whether they will rebuild in the North Spokane location.

“We just need to let the dust settle, literally, and see where we fall with that,” Vigil said. “Easily we can accommodate those patients, but that might not be the most convenient for the patient, so we want to do what’s best for them.”
