Only a trace of snow has fallen this month but that may change overnight as a Pacific weather system brings overnight wet snow showers. A winter weather advisory has been posted for areas above 2,500 feet, 1 to 3 inches of snow may accumulate. Spokane is located between 1,900 and 2,300 feet in elevation. Most valley snow will change to rain as temperatures rise to around 40 degrees.
