COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho-- The Coeur d’Alene Police Department is putting more officers on the streets to combat a growing seasonal crime rate. Officials say more people are more likely to misbehave when the warmer weather hits in the Lake City.

Police Sergeant Christie Wood said calls for help increased 20% over the past decade. They said a big reason for that is the booze-related calls and fighting in the summer.
