MULLAN, Idaho-- The closure of the Lucky Friday Mine could create a ripple effect for businesses in the Silver Valley.
The Mine Safety and Health Administration shutdown the mine two weeks ago.
The year long closure put more than 200 people out of work.
KREM 2's Cole Heath looked into what the sudden spike in unemployment means for nearby businesses.
