SPOKANE -- 37 World War II veterans landed in Washington, D.C. Friday evening. It is the trip of a lifetime as they get a chance to see the war memorials built in their honor.
Also there for the send off at Spokane Airport Friday morning was a special group of fifth graders. The class from Windsor Elementary raised $632 to make sure more veterans can make this trip.
KREM 2's Abbey Gibb has the story.
