SPOKANE, Wash. -- The names of more than 80 Spokane Vietnam veterans were read aloud during a ceremony at the traveling Vietnam Wall in northwest Spokane.

A bell rang out from a replica Liberty Bell for each veteran from Spokane whose name is on the wall.

Forty-five of the 84 Spokane Vietnam veterans on the wall are buried at Greenwood Memorial Terrace where the wall is set up.

Visiting the memorial is free and open to the public 24 hours until October 6. Free shuttle buses were scheduled to take people to and from the wall starting at noon Thursday.  The buses continue at 9 a.m. each day.
