SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- A teenager with Down syndrome at East Valley High is getting a big honor for homecoming week.

Tiffany Allen is a finalist for junior homecoming queen. Allen is a top three finalist for the throne, out of 20 girls in her class, which makes her a homecoming princess.

All of Allen’s teachers and friends said that she is the nicest kid around. She talks to everyone in the hallway and likes to give high-fives.

One of Allen’s classmates said she cannot picture anyone else getting the honor but Tiffany.

“She’s always super nice to everyone and deserves is more than anyone,” said Elisha Allread.

The announcement for homecoming queen will be made Friday night at the homecoming football game.
