SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Inland Northwest Craft Beer Festival is taking over Riverfront Park Friday evening.
The festival starts at 4:00 p.m. and runs through 8:00 p.m. Saturday. Event goers can sample more than 70 different types of beer from 30 Washington craft breweries. At least a dozen breweries from Eastern Washington will be attending the festival.
“When we started this festival four years ago there were only about five breweries here in the area and now we’ve got more than a dozen in the proximity and it’s just catching fire,” said Executive Director of the Washington Beer Commission, Eric Radovich.
There will be live music and food.
The event was formerly known as Spokane Oktoberfest.
