SPOKANE, Wash—As usual, 2013 saw a wide range of weather in the Inland Northwest.
Extreme conditions wreaked havoc, from spring thunderstorms that damaged homes in Rathdrum, Idaho to icy December roads that caused a ten-car pile-up in Ritzville.
Additionally, we saw a string of summer thunderstorms. Sports fans probably remember the lightening that disrupted the anticipated Sunday night game between the Seahawks and 49ers.
No one can forget the first arctic air mass since 2010 that brought sub-zero temperatures during winter. Most areas received between one and four inches of snow and are likely to see a more before the New Year begins.
