The Seattle Thrillers on Saturday participated in the 6th annual worldwide attempt to break the world record for the Largest Simultaneous Thriller Dance.

The Seattle event was held at Occidental Park in Pioneer Square.

Every year, "Thrill The World" hosts the global event inviting Thriller groups in cities all over the world to perform Michael Jackson's "Thriller" at the same time. To date, Thrill The World is represented in 33 countries by more than 23,000 people.

Seattle Thrillers is a non-profit group organized by Sheri Kinley to teach the Thriller dance for the world record attempt and to raise money for charities.  This year the Seattle Thrillers are donating to The Lighthouse For The Blind, Inc.

A Thriller event was also held at Redmond Town Center.
