PHOENIX -- The puppy known as "Cactus Jack" got a new home on Thursday after he was rescued from a cholla cactus on Sunday.
It was standing room only at the Arizona Humane Society as people hoping to take the little Yorkie-terrier mix home dropped their name in a bowl for a drawing.
Sara Messerschmidt was the lucky one.
"I've never won anything in my life so this exciting," said Messerschmidt.
