WALLACE, Idaho—Idaho State Police said speed was a factor in a fatal semi-truck crash near Wallace Tuesday night.
ISP officials said 59-year-old Louri Karlov was going westbound in Interstate 90 when he lost control of his semi-tractor trailer just before 9:00 p.m.
Law enforcement said Karlov was going too fast for the road conditions.
ISP reported the semi rolled onto its passenger side and traveled through about 20 feet of guardrail.
ISP authorities said the incident blocked the roadway for about five hours.
