SPOKANE-- Several construction projects planned this year are on main thorough fares throughout the City of Spokane. There's no doubt that this work will cause congestion and slower commutes for local drivers.
There are a number of projects in the works. City crews will begin the rehabilitation of 29th avenue from High Drive to Grand Boulevard next month.
Construction on a Spokane’s South Hill should last through early September.
A new traffic signal will be installed at the intersection of grand boulevard and 37th avenue. This project will get underway in mid-July and be finished by late august.

Alone Francis Avenue in north Spokane work is already underway. From Freya to Havana traffic has been reduced to one lane in each direction. When complete, this portion will have five lanes, including a continuous turn lane, sidewalks, bike lane, and a planting strip. This project is scheduled to be done by mid-July.
