AIRWAY HEIGHTS-- Highway 2 near Airway Heights is back open after a man lost control of his car and slammed into a tree Monday morning.
The wreck happened just before 9:30 a.m. when a male driver heading eastbound went off the road.
Crews say he went a good distance off the road.
Troopers closed down the road so Medstar could land. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers say drugs or alcohol are not a factor in the crash.
