BONNER COUNTY-- In Bonner County; Idaho crews are still working to fix roads wiped out record rain fall this spring.
It’s been almost two months since a section of Cocollala loop road was washed out by rushing waters. Now crews are getting to work.
Heavy machinery moved in to fill in and fix the gaping 100-plus-foot chunk of road obliterated by heavy rains in March.
The damage is in the county record books.
Workers are building a truck turn by the washout Wednesday. This will allow the big-rigs to easily dump materials and get out.
Debris clean-up and repairs start Thursday.
