SPOKANE -- Spokane Police said a woman who was hit by a car while crossing the street to catch a bus was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Officers said the woman was crossing 29th Avenue at Regal when she was clipped by the side-view mirror of an SUV. Police said the SUV had a green light as it traveled west on 29th.
Paramedics responded just before 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said there were several witnesses there who tended to the woman until the ambulance arrived.
