HYAK, Wash-- Drivers heading over Snoqualmie Pass on I-90 Thursday evening will experience delays.
Crews will be blasting in the area near the snow shed. The blasting could bring down a substantial amount of debris onto the roadway according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
WSDOT planned to close the interstate at 7:30 p.m. The highway is expected to re-open once crews clear any debris dislodged by the blasts and after the road can be assessed for damage.
WSDOT said drivers should plan for more than two hours of delays.
