SPOKANE, Wash. -- A Good Samaritan helping a stranded driver was struck and killed in Spokane Co.
It happened around 6 p.m. on I-90 near the Geiger exit.
The Washington State Patrol says Scott Moore, 56, got out of his vehicle to assist with an unrelated collision on the side of the road. Robert Dyer, 24, then allegedly struck Moore with his Chevrolet Camaro. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.
WSP says drugs and alcohol were involved in this crash. Dyer now faces hit-and-run and vehicular homicide charges.
