Multiple wrecks on Interstate 90 are responsible for major congestion near the state line.
Idaho State Police said the wreck stretched from the state line to Post Falls. Westbound lanes of the interstate were completely shut down for the clean-up, but they have since reopened. All wrecks were clear by 7 a.m.
ISP says sheets of black ice blanketed the roads and bridges during the Wednesday morning commute. Drivers are advised to slow down and drive cautiously as weather conditions become more severe.
