SPOKANE-- A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a wreck involving two other vehicles.
It happened just before 8:00 a.m. at I-90 and Sprague.
The Washington State Patrol says the three drivers were all headed westbound on the interstate when one of them swerved to avoid traffic ahead of him. Another vehicle rear-ended him, and the motorcyclist rear-ended that driver.
The driver of the motorcycle, 29-year-old Cody Smith, was taken to Sacred Heart for his injuries.
The other drivers escaped uninjured.
The motorcycle was totaled.
WSP says the drivers were following each other too closely.
Two lanes of the interstate were closed but have since reopened.
