SPOKANE, Wash. -- A collision with a moose crushed the front end of a SUV overnight.
It happened around 11 p.m. near the Qualchan Golf Course on Highway 195.
The driver says the moose came out of nowhere and she had no time to avoid it.
She escaped without injuries, but the vehicle was totaled.
The moose died in the crash.
