SPOKANE, Wash. -- A driver coming around a sharp turn slid on ice and drove straight into another vehicle.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. at Government Way and Greenwood.
Police say the driver of the black car was driving too quickly at the same location where a slide-off wreck happened Tuesday. She was able to avoid going down a ravine but crashed head on with the pickup truck.
The driver of the car was quickly taken away on a stretcher. Medics had to extricate the pickup truck driver. Both are said to have non-life-threatening injuries, but the truck driver likely suffered a broken leg or dislocated hip.
Charges are pending.
