NEAR MEDICAL LAKE, Wash.-- A woman crashed into another vehicle because she was reportedly driving too quickly around construction on I-90.
It happened around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday on the interstate, just east of Medical Lake.
The Washington State Patrol says Dona Daugharty, 60, swerved to avoid stopped traffic in a construction zone. She swerved too far, overcorrected to the left and struck another vehicle.
Daugharty’s pickup landed in a ditch after the wreck. The second vehicle came to rest in the middle of some other lanes.
Daugharty was injured, but did not need to be taken to the hospital. She was charged with speeding.
