SPOKANE-- Crews responded to a wreck in North Spokane outside of the Shari’s Restaurant.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Indiana and Monroe.
A KREM 2 News crew on scene said there didn’t appear to be any injuries.
According to the woman driving the silver car, she was traveling west on Indiana when another car ran a red light. She said the two cars hit, and the other driver took off. The woman said her car’s break pedals were not working after the impact, and the car drove about a block until it hit the Shari’s sign.
However, police say the silver car is being cited for running a red light. The officer says the silver car ran a red light, hitting another car. The officer says the other car involved left scene with no injuries and is not being cited.
One east bound lane of Indiana was blocked for a short period of time.
