NORTH SPOKANE-- A brush fire closed Division in North Spokane Wednesday morning near the ‘Y’.
Traffic was backed up on Division from Magnesium to Country Homes Blvd.
Officials said the brush fire was caused by a blown transformer and a down power line. The power line was down across Division.
Officials said the fire was out just after 9:30 a.m. and crews were looking for hot spots.
Delays were expected for most of the morning. There was no estimate on when the roads would be reopened.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
