SPOKANE COUNTY – One person was hurt in a crash involving a school bus and a pickup truck north of Spokane.
There were 30 students on the bus.
Spokane County Fire District 4 responded to the wrecvk at Hwy 2 & Westmoreland just before 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, approximately 14 miles north of Spokane.
The bus was part of a Spokane Public Schools day camp outing going back to Spokane when it was struck by a small pickup truck.
All of the children on the bus were unharmed.
The driver of the bus was transported as a precautionary measure. The driver of the truck was evaluated and refused transport.
The roadway has been cleared.
