Deer finally catches a cross country runner and starts to lick him.
The deer recently chased a seventh-grader at a cross-country meet until it caught him. The animal then put its hooves on the boy's shoulders and licked him.
The incident garnered national media attention when photos of the incident circulated.
The deer was seen more frequently in the area and became very tame. People could easily approach the animal and it was even seen following a child on a bike like a pet.
Officials say the deer became too friendly and decided to send it to the Three Sisters Wilderness Area.
