SPOKANE -- A Spokane Superior Court judge ordered a local landlord back to jail Tuesday for violating the conditions of his release.

Arlin Jordin was ordered back to jail for violating conditions of his release.

Arlin Jordin was back in court to hear testimony from a woman who claimed she was drugged by Jordin in his home.

In the summer of 2006, Jordin was convicted of drugging and raping a woman who wanted to rent an apartment from him.

Jordin was sentenced to eight and a half years in prison.

He was released from jail in August while his lawyers appeal the conviction.

Two weeks ago, Kari Defreese filed documents claiming she was also drugged by Jordin while looking to rent an apartment, and Jordin made unwanted sexual advances toward her.

Defreese said she "felt funny" after drinking coffee provided by Jordin.

Judge Neal Rielly did not ask about the sexual advances Jordin allegedly made toward her.

Instead, he asked whether Defreese was offered any alcohol by Jordin, which is a violation of his release.

Defreese said she noticed several empty whiskey bottles in Jordin's home.

Jordin was ordered back to the Spokane County Jail.

Meanwhile, a hearing on his appeal is scheduled in the next few weeks.
