SPOKANE -- A 27-year-old woman who was accused of making cyanide-tainted Coca Cola for Senators Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton and Prince William of Great Britain was arrested Thursday in Spokane after violating the conditions of her release.

Great Falls Tribune

Tashala Hayman was arrested Thursday night in Spokane.

Tashala Hayman of Vaughn, Montana was found not guilty by reason of insanity in 2002. After several years of close supervision and time in mental health detention centers, Hayman was released this summer and forced to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet.

In July, Hayman removed the bracelet and went on the run. The exact details of her arrest in Spokane are unknown.

Hayman is appearing in U.S. District Court this morning.

Investigators say Hayman sent the poisoned Cokes through the mail along with notes that read "Have a Coke and a smile".
