Thursday, 6:30pm: Chris Reid, the adult film actor accused of raping a woman in a WSU sorority house last week, is free after posting bail. Reid turned himself in to police Wednesday afternoon and pleaded not guilty. Reid's next court date is Oct. 12.

UPDATE Wed. 5:30pm: Rape suspect Chris Reid appeared in Whitman County court Wednesday evening after turning himself in to authorities. Reid requested to be arrested at his hotel to avoid media attention.

In court, Reid asked to be arraigned during his first appearance and plead not guilty to rape charges.

After his initial court appearance, Reid's attorney Chris Bugbee handed KREM 2 NEWS a statement saying:

"Mr. Reid maintains that he is innocent of any and all criminal charges. We are confident that when this matter is concluded, he will be absolved of all the allegations against him"

Afterwards Bugbee spoke with KREM 2 NEWS and said that his client is one of the most popular porn stars right now, and he intends to post bail so that he can return to work.

A judge set bail at $200,000; Bugbee and Reid asked it to be set at $100,000.

UPDATE WED. 4:00pm: Pullman Police confirm 25-year-old Chris Reid, also known as Jack Venice, has turned himself in. Reid faces second-degree rape charges. Detectives say Reid raped a WSU student while she slept in the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority house.

Reid's attorney, Chris Bugbee, released a statement to KREM 2's Lee Stoll: "Mr. Reed maintains that he is innocent of any and all criminal charges. We are confident that when this matter is concluded, he will be obsolved of all the allegations against him."

UPDATE WED. 10:20am: New information this morning in the hunt for the man believed to be the second suspect in the rape of woman at a Washington State University sorority house.

KREM 2 NEWS has confirmed that 25-year-old Christopher Reid, aka 'Jack Venice', has been in contact with Pullman Police via his attorney and plans to turn himself in.

Police reports say Reid introduced himself to people at W.S.U. as "Jack" and said he was a "porn-star".

KREM 2 NEWS found that Reid routinely visited college campuses looking for women to feature in his films. Reid is the second suspect in the WSU rape investigation. Pullman Police arrested 23-year-old Kyle Schott last Friday.

SPOKANE--His picture is all over the internet and in porno movies. But Pullman police are still looking for a WSU rape suspect.

KREM 2 news looked into the very public life of Jack "Venice.” Jack Venice’s real name is Christopher Reid. Pullman police say he is a suspect in last week's rape at the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority house. He and another man are also accused of breaking into two other sororities.

KREM 2 News typed in Jack Venice’s name and found dozens of sites with pictures and videos of him approaching college women asking them very abruptly to be in his porn videos.

Pullman police say Venice went too far last week, raping a woman at a sorority. Pullman police say Venice is known in several states; including Arizona and California. We found this video shot at Texas State in March.

KREM 2 also checked his MySpace page which was logged onto today and changed to private. But a posting from Pullman reads "hope you got to stick around long enough to see this town at its best." on Monday, 23-year-old Kyle Schott faced a judge on rape and burglary charges.

Police say Schott confessed to being in a room at the Kappa Alpha Theta house last week while Venice raped a woman even "giving "jack" a condom when requested."

So how long was a porn star known for using college women in videos at WSU? Tuesday Afternoon, police told KREM 2 that Schott is claiming he met Venice for the first time that night and other witnesses say they'd never seen him before.

KREM 2 News called Venice’s film company to ask if he was in Pullman shooting for them, they told us they had no comment.

As for where he may be, police tell KREM 2 they have several leads and looking in California, Texas, even overseas.

COLFAX -- Whitman County Superior Court has issued an arrest warrant for 25 year old Christopher Jack Reid, aka "Jack Venice", in connection with the sexual assault of a woman at a WSU sorority.

Christopher Reid is described as 5 foot 8, 150 pounds, green eyes, blonde hair with a buzz cut. He has a tattoo of a solid triangle on the back of his neck and also a tatoo that displayed an ammunition belt around his right thigh.

The warrant for Reid lists the charges of rape in the second degree, two counts of residential burglary and one count of attempted residential burglary. All of the counts are felonies.

Bond for Reid's warrant was set at $200,000. Suspect Kyle Schott, who appeared in Whitman County court Monday afternoon, has posted bail and is out of jail.
