Airlines now charging for frequent flier miles

SPOKANE--Just when you thought airlines were nickel and diming you to the limit … they found another extra charge.

US Airways, American Airlines and Delta are now charging you to cash in your frequent flier miles.

On Delta, you can expect to pay $25 for domestic frequent flyer tickets and $50 for international flights.

Just this month, US Airways began charging $25 to Mexico and Canada, $35 and to Hawaii and $50 for international flights.

American Airlines charges a flat fee of 5 dollars.
