SPOKANE--The KREM 2 Stormtracker 2 forecast calls for a cool day on Wednesday throughout the Inland Northwest, but the snow that fell yesterday has moved out of the region.

Warmer weather starts to move into the region on Wednesday.

Wednesday will see a high of 62 degrees with a chance of rain showers and a possible afternoon thunderstorm to go along with breezy winds at 10-15 mph.

A snow advisory is still in effect until 11 a.m. for the Central Panhandle Mountains of Idaho, including the towns of Kellogg, St. Maries, Pinehurst, Osburn, Wallace and Mullan. Three to five inches of snow could fall in this region in areas above 4,000 feet.

A high of 72 degrees is expected Thursday as warmer, drier weather moves into the region and the low is expected to be 45.

Temperatures will continue to climb to 76 on Friday with a low of 51 under dry skies.
