Snowfall on the Palouse.
Locally there are reports of slide-offs along several roadways in and around Pullman.
"A picture really doesn't do justice to what we're seeing down here," said Pullman resident Steve Martinez, who e-mailed pictures to KREM.com.
"Huge flakes, snow sticking to the grass, parked car windshields covered with snow... it looks more like the beginning of the snow season down here than June 10!" he said.
In the Spokane area, KREM 2 News viewers reported a range of scattered flurries from as nearby as Spokane's South Hill to heavy snowfall - thick blowing flakes - in the Medical Lake area west of Spokane.
