PEND OREILLE CO. -- A man is in the Intensive Care Unit at Sacred Heart Medical Center after sheriff's deputies say he was shot while turkey hunting Tuesday evening.

Deputies say a 13 year old accidentally shot his uncle while turkey hunting near this house in Pend Oreille County, Washington.

27-year-old Robert Matson was turkey hunting with his nephew off Allen Road in Pend Oreille County. Investigators say the teenager accidentally shot Matson in the neck and shoulder.

Deputies are still investigating exactly what happened.
