Cops arrest 11 people for DUI over Thanksgiving

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash.--The Washington State Patrol said authorities in Eastern Washington arrested 11 people for DUI from Wednesday night into Thanksgiving morning.

A man suspected of DUI crashed his Cadillac into a metal pole at Trent and Fancher in Spokane Valley early Thanksgiving morning.
Police also responded to several wrecks.
Spokane Valley Police say one man crashed his Cadillac STS into a metal traffic light pole at Trent and Fancher at 2:30 Thursday morning.
Police say the man was speeding and lost control.
He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Police believe alcohol was also a factor.
