Prosecutors said Dominick Salois, 21, and Daniel Cutting, 20, were street racing along Kathleen Avenue before the crash. They were charged with vehicular manslaughter in the Oct. 13, 2006, crash that killed 14-year-old Isaac Norris and severely injured his mother, Glenda Norris.

At trial, Cutting's former girlfriend told jurors that Cutting and Salois acknowledged each other and then revved their engines moments before speeding down a Coeur d'Alene street.

Prosecutors say the two men were going well over the posted 35-mph speed limit before crashing into Norris' car.

They each face a maximum of 15 years in prison.
