SPOKANE—Police are suspending their search for a reckless driver in North Spokane.
Officers say they tried to pull over the suspect, but he sped up. Two minutes later he ditched the car and fled on foot.
That was near the corner of Francis and Market.

Police chase a reckless driver through North Spokane Monday morning.
Police called off the search after a couple of hours. Police detained a passenger for questioning.
Officers believe they know who the missing suspect is because there are felony warrants out for his arrest.
